16/1/13 - MICROWAVE FABRIC BOWL HOLDERS:

Hi Cuties, I want to make some of these bowls for people, and wondered if any of you have made them for square bowls. My Daughter has the Corelle white square dinner set.
Thank you for any links, or help you can provide

Somewhere on Cuties, I believe I saw the bowl that was tied on the side to make a bowl. I just remember seeing them. They were flat with the padding left off the corners so that when you tied them there was no large amount of material sticking out. This may not be what you want, but I could see (in my mind) where the ties could be used as handles to remove the bowls from the microwave.

I'm thinking this was done by Martine (mops). I'll try to search for it later, no time right now. ;)

I think I have a PDF of this pattern with instructions that I found on the internet. I've been meaning to make it but just haven't come around to it yet. Let me know if you want me to email it to you :)

Don't clip away the excess, let it stick out and you have a 'handle' to move it.
