I like these neutral colors too.......great job, I want to teach myself how to do more than a chain stitch as I know crocheting is faster than knitting.....

OMGosh Carolyn: I am doing the same colour scarf. I have made about 10 of them, but knitting not crochet. I crochet better than knit, but not on these scarves.

It is crochet and i got it by Google crochet scarves hugs
if u can find it i can tell u what the pattern is it is;;
use size 8 hook
go through every other hole (in the yarn) till u have 10 on your needle pick up one more (this makes 11 pull #11 though all the 10 then start again real easy u don't even half to know how to crochet lol hugs

I made one using the same youtube video. Liked it better then knitting. The knitting one is a little thicker but takes longer to make. Happy sewing Brenda Lea

Beautiful Beautiful....When I first saw the pict I thought it was one of those scarves that people use the special yarn to knit and get the ruffle look. I knit but have never learned to crochet (only make a chain), but your instruction sounds like I might be able to do this. Thank you for sharing.

yes u can even if u can't crochet its that simple lol but it is a scarf ok
the pattern for knitting is on the ball of yarn. I think its called Red Heart Boutique Sashay. I am making the same scarf in the same colour, but knitting it. I just googled...scarf knit with sashay yarn and both the knit and crochet video are there. Walmart sells the wool or Michaels.
Thanks for comment and information. Will look up some yarn and see what I can do. Hope knit is as simple as Noah made crochet sound. My daughter would love it I am sure.

Good jog - even if it's not purple (lol). Crocheting goes faster than knitting, that's why I prefer crocheting.
