God is beside you always, there with you in the problem. I have asked him to be with you for healing and for spiritual uplifting. It is not the hopeless diagnosis it used to be. We had a dear friend in our church who lived six years with her diagnosis and had a quality life until the last week. I am praying for the best for you.

Oh, that is such bad news. But, I must tell you I know two survivors of pancreatic cancer! They both had to fight long, hard battles, but they are both here, enjoying the lives they fought so hard to keep. I will pray for you, and ask them to pray for you too. Love and hugs, Jan

update: I found out this week that there is a waiting list until April for a PET scan here in Moncton! and that it can take another 2-4 weeks after that for the surgery. My doctor has added me to the St.John NB hospital list, too. My daughter in Ottawa is looking to see what options are available in her area for me.

Great news! I have finally been called in next Tuesday by the St. John NB Regional Hospital for my PET scan! Hopefully it will not be too long a wait after this for my surgery. Thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts.

Just a wee update...I have decided to go for a second opinion, as here in Moncton NB I was told the tumour is inoperable. So I have an appointment next Tuesday at the Ottawa Ontario Cancer Centre. I am hoping they can do something, maybe radiation, to rid me do this disease, God willing.
