Cyclone Oscar and tornados has hit the whole of the Queensland Coast all 2000 miles of it and it has flooded ever town that it has passed through. It was our turn in Brisbane for the last 24 hours and now the Brisbane River is rising. It is now moving over the border into New South Wales and will hit as far down as Sydney another 600 miles from here. Half of Brisbane has no power.. Hugs Joyce

Hi Joyce, Hope you are o.k. I've been glued to Channel 9 all day and can't help but feel helpless. Thank you to all of our SES personnel. And of course all the water board, the electricity board and all peoples who are just out there helping where needed. Water is just so devastating. I see the front is coming down the NSW coast. It hasn't stopped raining here all night, but we are lucky here where we live. I hope all people who are returning from holidays take care as many will be on the roads coming back to Sydney for the school week starting this week. What heartbreak for those who have only just got their homes repaired after the 2011 floods. Queensland is certainly copping it! Keep dry, love and blessings Chris

Praying for the people to be safe and well prepared. Found many news articles and video on your weather and rising water. Some of the schools have already cancelled. Is this affecting the same residents from the last flood?

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and well wishes. We are safe but many of Queenslanders are not. The rivers are still rising and many towns are already flooded. Brisbane flooding is not as high as 2011 but many houses along the Brisbane River are under water. Bunderburg up north is hit the worst thousands have lost their houses and the water is still rising. The TV says the river is flowing at 70 kilometers an hour and houses are being swept off their stumps and away. Please pray for them. there is 14 helecopters plucking people from their roof tops. Hugs Joyce
