6 days ago my rain tanks were empty. I paid $120 for a half a tank full...2 days after this it started to rain. So now in the last 4 days I have had 11 inches plus some....with all this rainy weather we are having here in Queensland.

I had to rescue baby trukeys who were drenched, 2 I almost left as I thought they were still and gone. I picked them up and I saved 11 in total...lost 4 of the smallest ones. I have all different sizes at the moment from big Dad's and big Mum's to different size/age small ones....and found another new one born today also...this one has 2 mums with her/him...
I have had to spend time in rain digging trench behind shed, water was coming in..lucky my cold had almost cleared up. My Son tells me you can only catch 'getting wet' from rain, not a cold....
Haven't done too much sewing as power was going on and off will wait till I am sure that won't happen as my old machine does not remember where it stops and would lose all embroidery....so just catching up on some rest again. I have had the 2 GD's the last 2 days they keep me going but I love 'em. All good, Kerry
