2012jan28 - I posted this in Sewing, but wanted to post here as well..I came across a machine embroiderer/quilter, Sharon Shambler, at the Road to California quilt show Saturday...If you quilt and want to incorporate machine embroidery into your quilts this site is a MUST SEE!!! I purchased her Quilt as you Go design with the DVD and I am excited to get it started. I hope you enjoy her work as much as I have...she is a very decorated quilter and has won many, many awards at the International Quilt Festival in Houston and others as well....Also she has 57 You Tube videos..that, too is well worth a peek!

I used to be scared of binding quilts until I watched her "binding the angel quilt" video on youtube.. now I use her method for binding all the time. Super easy :) xXx

That is a terrific site! I was at the show too and was amazed at all the art quilts. I think it was the first time I saw a ME quilt too. It was in a recent quilting magazine as well. It appears that she just has an online store. I do miss seeing "bed quilts" as nowadays you can't even get near the quilts to see the workmanship as they are such works of art.
