Hey Cute Buddies - I can not believe the buy I got today. Went into Joann's to pick up pillow forms - hit the remnants at 75% off, and picked up 1.5yd of suede that is 58" wide - for $2.21 :) :).

I think someone must have made an error in the original price! Now have to decide what to do with it. Hubby just shook his head, and muttered "impulse buy".

When Mine says something like that I ask, oh so nicely....."What's your point?". There never is one....go figure?
Great buy! Almost makes me green with envy. Some of the IMPULSE buys turn out to be inspired "masterpieces"!

I always check the remnants. I collect some for doll clothes and am stockpiling now from the home decor department for purses and place mats projects. However, I find many of the employees don't know how to ring them up at the cash register. After complaining at no avail, I was advised to always let the service mgr ring up the remnants, as it takes knowledge to override the register to get the real discounts. I love a bargain!!! Good job.
