Cuties could I please have your prayers for my (longest surviving) Friend and bowling partner of over 30 years, Nancy Mors. She has an aneurysm the size of an orange in her aorta and they are going to try and remove it on Friday 8th Feb.
I am so worried for her because they have warned her that keyhole surgery may not work and they may have to crack her chest open.
So many of my friends have passed away....
I am being positive around her but HE knows I am beside myself with worry.

Meg what hospital will Nancy be in? I know there are some very great Drs specialist down south there....I do hope all goes well for her.

Thanks Kerry, she will be in North Gosford Private Hospital. Her surgeon is a vascular specialist but he probably wants her in there because they have fantastic Cardiac surgeons who operate there, great backup in case the keyhole surgery doesn't work. That's where Ray had his cardiac surgery in November so I felt a little relieved when she told me she was going there.

Oh, Meg......my heart sinks for you hearing this. I know how worried and scared you must be. I will pray for Nancy and for you. Just try and remember the only thing you can do is pray with faith and know that she is certainly in capable hands, His. Seems like I remember praying for Nancy in the last year or so? Or, maybe it was her husband? Sending you many hugs! ;)

Thanks Jerrilyn, I think I must have phoned her 5 or 6 times yesterday and then I jumped in the car and took her an FSL Angel to take with her to hospital.
Yes Nancy had a breast cancer scare a couple of years ago, (before I moved back here) and last year it was Nancy's husband who went through a really bad time, nearly died twice. He is now on oxygen and very frail. I am so glad I am only 5 minutes away now if they need anything.

it is 7 pm Friday and Nancy is still in theatre, no news at all, I couldn't even find our what time they took her to theatre.
I have busied myself trying to find my i-phone charger cable, which I seem to have misplaced, 2 days ago, somewhere between the kitchen and my desk, a distance of about 10 feet. . Talk about being absent minded. :-) I had to dash out and buy a new one, would you believe it cost $30 for a NON Apple brand! I'll bet anything the other one will show up now.

Yes Jerri, we call it the operating theatre, Heaven only knows why.
Operating theaters have a viewing room. Used in teaching hospitals.

I called the hospital at 9:30 pm and Nancy had come through the surgery and is now in ICU. That was all they would tell me but it was enough to give me great relief. I'll go and visit her tomorrow.
