Two very old t shirts that needed a face lift. The designs are Painted Flowers from Urban Threads. I just put a piece of frayed calico under one and a piece of pink gingham under the other. I am quite pleased with the results.

Hi Sue - I was thinking that redwork would be great on a piece of material as well for t shirts. I will have to give that one a go!!! So many redwork patterns that I have never used.

Adding the fabric would be a perfect way to cover up a stain that was larger than your design. Great idea.
