I am going to need some medium weight tearaway stablizer soon. I would like opinions on which brand is the best, one that tears cleanly.

Thank you very much.

I agree with Suzanne. I buy most of my stablizers from Allstitch, and
have for many years. Truly fast delivery! I buy my prewound bobbins from them, too.

Thank you, I need to make sure, but I think that's where I ordered the kind I have now.

I like Florini tearaway because it tears so cleanly.

My favorite is Sulky "Stiffy". The problem is that it only comes in a small width so not good for larger hoops (works through my brother 5x7). I have used World Weidner but it does not tear near as clean as the Stiffy. The Floriani Wet N Stick is really nice too - but pricey. There is another one from World Weidner (it says "waffle") that I will try with my next order to see if it tears cleaner. I like the clean tear too because I do lots of ITH things and you dont want all the little bits left to pick out. Let us know what you choose and if you like it.

Thanks for the information. I like ITH too and fuzzy edges aren't good!
