Hi Cuties: I haven't finished this project yet, but couldn't wait to show you the design. This was another thought I had and Meganne was kind enough to bring it to life for me. My Granddaughter loves to bake cupcakes, so this design is for the pockets of her cupcake apron.. I will add a picture of the apron once its all done.

This is an applique design.
I believe Meganne is going to share the design with you at some point and if you want the instructions as to how I did it, then send me a PM.
Hugs Jerri

Hi Chris: Thank you. I am just learning how to applique, so thought this turned out really well. I am so pleased with the design and so grateful for Meganne for digitizing it for me.

I also am partial to applique....
by jerrib 11 Feb 2013
I am getting the hang of it, so will be doing more. Been kind of nervous trying it, I just worry the fabric will start to pull away from the satin stitch.
by meganne 14 Feb 2013
Not MY satin stitch it won't! hahahahahaha!

Hopefully I will get it done tomorrow. I would have loved to learn how to cake decorate, just not enough time. My GD loves to bake so its going to be for her. She picked out the fabric, but doesn't know about these designs for the pocket. I just hope it all turns out and looks as good done as it did in my head...lol

Thank you for comments. I had thought of putting a little stuffing in the icing part, but chickened out, just thought it would make it more 3D like.
by meganne 11 Feb 2013
Some puffy foam would have done the trick Jerri. :-)
by jerrib 11 Feb 2013
I never thought of puffy foam and have never used it. Might have to think about getting some. Now my head is thinking !!!!
by meganne 14 Feb 2013
I used it under the land sections on a World globe design I did and I was really pleased with the outcome. Easy stuff to use. hugs, M

It's all down to you Jerri, your ideas inspire me and I love the challenge of creating something, from another person's idea, and seeing it come to life.
I may even have to stitch this one myself. hugs n love, Meg
