The nicest thing just happened to me.
Meganne and Chris just called me from Australia, just to say Hi. I live in BC, Canada.
Believe me,i t made my day an extra special one.
Thank you both, it meant the world to me.

It was a total surprise, I was so excited. Just had a hard time understanding Meg at times. I am not good with accents so had to get her to repeat a few things.
Why is it when you edit your comment, things go all funny. When I corrected my spelling for surprise, words are now joined together.....
AHAH! Don't worry Jerri my I-phone can't understand me either. LOL!!!!

It was a total surprise and so much fun to hear their accent, its my favourite. As I have collected Koala's since I was a teenager, Australia has a special place for me. I keep buying lotto tickets in hopes of seeing a real one.

It was lovely to speak with you, too Jerri. It is so much fun to talk to other Cuties and I've discovered that it is quite often cheaper to talk to someone in USA/Canada than it is to phone someone in Sydney.
Now I'm looking into Skype, I have downloaded it and set up my account, but trying to add friends, I am just going round in circles!!!!????.
I'll work it out eventually but maybe 3 hours sleep is not enough for my brain to function fully. LOL!!!!

And please Cuties, if you call me your friend, and I ask for your phone number, don't ask why, just hand it over and be prepared for a surprise when you least expect it. hahahahahahahaha!!!!

What a nice thing for you both to have done. By the way Skype is great, my SIL (cutie Danie) are on there regularly, it is just like being in the same room, well almost. You will love it.
Meganne had asked for my address and phone number and said she wanted to do Google Earth to see where I lived. i just never dreamt I would get a phone call from her. When she called, the number came up on my TV and usually if I don't know the number, I won't answer my phone. I don't have an answering machine, now that I am retired. I get alot of solicitors, so that is why I don't answer.
The number was so unusual to me, that I thought, I wonder if it would be Meg, but then thought no, she wouldn't call me all the way from Australia. Then she tried again and again I let it right. I just went over to the computer to e-mail her and there was a message from her telling me to answer my darn phone.
I don't have Skype but think it would be a great thing to have when you have family and friends living away from you.

This has really left a huge lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. What a wonderful thing for Meganne and Chris to do. I know that I will never get to see Australia but through Cute I have found some wonderful "Aussie" friends. Sarah.

well now isn't that just the most wonderful experience to have.. and you say we Aussie's have an accent, that is funny to hear, I don't think we think about us having and accent....I kinda like that...I just love people with accents, especially ......well everyone....

It made Valentines day even more special. I could listen to the Aussie accent for hours, I just don't always catch all the words. I entered Ellen's contest to win a trip there, but didn't hear anything back. It would be the first place I would visit if I ever won a Lottery.

It was so nice to talk to them in person. I have call display on my TV and if I don't recognize the number I usually don't answer, but Meganne kept trying. I am so glad I finally answered. We chat back and forth over my crazy design idea's but never thought we would talk in person. Hugs Jerri

I often wonder what I would do without this wonderful site.
This is the first thing I do when I get up in the morning, check out to see what new and fun things are posted. I hope Ms. V knows how much she has done for so many and how many friendships have been created by her site. I would be lost without it.
