Thought I'd share the new Baby Sampler and Burp Cloth I made for a new Great Grandmother...a very close friend of our family...to give to her new Great Granddaughter...I hope she likes it...Just had to do cross stitch!!! I think it came out very well...the design is from Vermillion..can't go wrong there...it's from the Ladybugs & Bees collection which I think is ADORABLE!

Hope you like them as much as I do...Thanks!

The sampler took about five hours to sew...it may seem like a long time, but like hand cross stitch there are many color changes...but I think well worth the effort...

This is just beauitiful. Did you use linen for the sampler? What did you use for the burp. Love it all.

The sampler was made from a decor fabric with a satin stripe through it...it was left over from my dining room window coverings..the burp cloth is a diaper folded in at the sides and overlayed with some cotton fabric and quilted...Thanks for your comments...

This will be a keepsake for her grandchild! I can't believe it only took you 5 hours to stitch it out! You are right, it is adorable. Your thread choices are just perfect for this design! You are a good friend to create such a lovely gift that is sure to stay in the family for a long time.
