Sweat shirt for my Mom. My sister gave me the scraps of a bandanna type cotton fabric that mother had made her self a blouse or shirt a long time ago. I brought them home and opened the small pieces. My Mom could cut closer than any one I know and cut a pattern out and not waste material. This design is from "Betty's Original Embroideries" Love Birds. I loved it !! Hope my Mom loves it too.

Love it, Kay! This was certainly done with alot of LOVE! How old is your Mom now? It has to be about time to go back and see her again. You need to take some pictures of her if they are only for you and your sister! Great job on this, I know she will love it!

It is such a blessing to see the joy on your Mom's face and read the joy in your writing about her. I am so glad you both still have each other. My mom is 87 and I enjoy everyday with her. Thanks for sharing this.
