I am back to making bears again. I found this piece of fabric in my stash over the weekend and decided it would make a cute bear. I just love it. How about you? Hugs, Susan

This design is from Embroidery-Outlet. Click on Designs, then ITH Designs. It is about half way down called Walter Bear. I make mine with a 5x7 hoop, but it is also formatted for a 4x4 hoop. Give one a try if you have any problems feel free to contact me. I will be glad to help you. Hugs, Susan
Thank you for that, I love him, I will save up and get him.

I love him and love all ot the bears you have made. Your monkeys and doll. How many do you keep? I sometimes wish I could just grow a bigger room here and there just for all my toys.

I love this little guy. The material is perfect. I bought this design when it was on sale a couple of weeks ago along with a doll, but haven't had time to make any. Great Job!

Susan your bears are just so cute. I love that you choose fabrics that are not just fur. You make them into very individual characters and that makes them even more special. I can't believe you make one in a weekend. You must have the process down to a science.

They used to take me a couple days to make one. I can actually complete one in about 8 hours now. I think I am addicted to making them. I used to get bored making the same thing over and over, but these all end up with their own personality and I can't seem to stop making them. Hugs, Susan

he is just so cute...i brought 6 of her designs when she had a sale and have only got around to making one so far ....I just find the sewing together really hard or am I doing it wrong did you attach the pieces separately or did you sew them in the hoop ...I know they are done in the hoop then you cut them out turn them inside out stuff them and attach the pieces this is the stage i am finding really difficult...are you doing it this way....Denise x

Yes, Denise that's how I do it. My first couple of bears took me about 2 days each to complete, but now I can do one start to finish in 6 - 8 hours. The more you do the easier they get. You sort of get your own system. I really enjoy them. It's almost like I have my own little cabbage patch. They are not difficult just time consuming. Hugs, Susan
