Top : the first stitchout of my fairy and rose design; bottom : stitched out again in different colours as a birthday card, in a parchment / decoupage / peel-offs mount design I've used before. Now I'm going to try to do her with a white rose on a darker background, I'll see how that turns out!

Love

That is so nice!!! Is white Border an embroidery on Tüll or Organza? How do they make that? Many many flowers for it

In answer to the question about the border, it's not fabric and not embroidery, it's parchment paper, embossed (which turns it white where the parchment is stretched), pierced and cut out, then mounted over pink card then grey card and decorated with silver peel-offs which I coloured in with gel pens! It's a technique I think goes well with the embroidery, I've made several cards this way. It's very time-consuming but well worth the effort. I've put instructions and design ideas for parchment craft on my craft website http://www.diannescraftbox.bravehost.com if you'd like to have a go yourself.
