Another quilt to zoom into,this time carousel horses.Take a close look at the words that have been used to be part of the stippling in the background.

Artist Statement: When I was young, it was always a big decision as to which horse to ride on the carousel. Which one of these beautiful horses would you ride? Beginning with white muslin, I base painted the background and horses using textile mediums followed by detailed shading with Shiva Paintstiks. It took about 300 hours of painting, 250 hours of quilting and another 40 hours or so of applying the 5000+ crystals.
