Just finished this for a client who runs her dog, Bella in agility courses.....she is thrilled with the results, the only regret I have is not being able to get the white dot in the eye, I put it in when I digitized her pic, but on the stitchout it broke two needles trying to get it in.....way to small to stitch......oh well, she likes it...the 2nd pic is the one I digitized off of....I had her send me another pic of dog and am so glad I did, as she has gray round her muzzle which doesn't show up on the agility pic...

What a Good Design , if some stitches gos wrong, I sew them in by hand as I have found I have broke to many needles also , you did well she should be pleased

I thought of that, but I don't have white, then I thought maybe teeny bit of fabric paint, but thought my luck I would get a big glob on it and ruin it, so I left it alone......

This is a super nice job. Only way I would even try knowing needles breaking would be by hand for such a small area and I would have to use pliers to help me there. I am currently down in one hand.

Excellent, excellent job. Next time to avoid the breakage of the needle use the density adjustment control (if your software allows).

Thank you......The dog is layered with 2 blending colors and I put his brown eyes in with black centers so the area was just too detailed to add another element, I didn't use the density control as I didn't want to lose any of the detail. I was even using a #9 needle (instead of the 11), which is why I was able to get in as much as I could in that small space......

Fabulous! You were able to show the energy of the dog perfectly! I read somewhere that even if you can get a little white inside the eye in tiny spaces, that it can will sink down into the threads and not really show up.

I am a cat person, but this design is really comendable I hope i have the correct spelling for this word!!) and beautifully digitised. The doggy is alive!!! It looks stunning.

Next time try using a toothpick with the white paint. That way you can practice on something to see just how much is needed to get that dot. I know what you mean...I used to paint & that white highlight in the eye gives it expression. HOWEVER, I don't see how anything would improve on that one you have done!! Just great! I can see why she likes it!!
