2/26/13 -- Calling all Grandmothers who have grand daughters..... I had made super hero capes for my grand sons then thought that I had to make something for the sister of one. What to make, a princess skirt! I looked on line for how to do it and then saw one in the store costing $25 but took note of how it was done and it cost me all of $6 to complete!

Picture 1 is the skirt completed
Picture 2 is how I placed the 4 inch folded strips on the elastic before sewing below the elastic, leaving all sides open.
Picture 3 is paring the skirt with a cute top

Hope you like!!!

So cute. What little girl (or big girl) could resist this.

She will feel special. Like how you rigged up the chairs to work on the color strips.

I think it's the grandmother who should wear to super capes with all the things we come up with for our little darlings. Thanks for your photo steps..marian
