the blanket was hand crochet around a $5 fleece blanket that had blanket stitching. I backed it with fluffy fleece to hide back of embroidery and add warmth. The $5 blanket was very thin a lot like micro fleece.

the fleece blanket had blanket stitching around it, I used that to crochet through and around.
