Thank you Sue (Dewsbury) for the different ideas for making cards. I have taken note and have come up with this, which I am very pleased with. It is for my SIL's mother
who will be turning 80. The appliqué vintage heart is from GG Designs and I just added the wording.

Sarah.......this is gorgeous and what a keepsake for her...I have a friend who has actually framed the embroidered cards I have given her..they look amazing like that......I could see this little heart framed...great job!
