Amy asked me to do a couple of little designs for Ophelie. I've done an Easter egg basket and a couple of Mushroom appliques from SWAK. I'm a bit peeved with myself as when I wet the WSS (water soluble solvy) to remove it from the design on the red spot fabric - the colour ran! As it was such a small piece I never thought of washing the whole piece of fabric! I've learned a valuable lesson! Love Chris
It's the first day of Autumn here in Australia and it's raining cats and dogs here in Newcastle - the whole east coast is water logged!

Thanks Martine, it hasn't stopped raining all day. Amy has been here since 9.30 and just left at 5.30. She just decided to come and see me with Ophelie. So she has taken the t-shirts home with her. She loved them. Love Chris

Lovely work Chris. If its wet with you the rain has moved from the UK. We have had some of the wettest weather that has gone on for months and months. Today was sunny:)

Thanks Caroline - I cannot believe the weather we've been having. I got an email from my cousin in Adelaide and she said it's official - It's been the hottest summer on record! And I wouldn't mind betting it's been the wettest day on record here for the 1st day of Autumn! Love Chris

Hi Marian, well it had it on in the pattern as a polka dot ribbon, but I didn't have any polka dot. I should have bought some, but thought hey what the heck. If Amy wants to put on another colour she can. Love Chris

Beautiful. Ophelie is one lucky girl. If you have to much water send some our way. For the past 2 weeks it really is terribly hot and we so need a bit of rain.

Thanks for commenting. I think this latest weather trough has come from the south/south east and the wind is 25/35km/h! So it's windy and wet! I wish South Africa could get some, there's nothing like being hot! Love Chris
Seems I was too hasty. We have a cloudy rainy day today and it is such a relief that the heat spell is broken for a day or two.
