I decided to try one more with the flannel & this time I got it right! & it only took me 30 minutes but most of that was choosing the fabric LOL. This is baby big bird dpo you think it is a boy or a girl or can it be both? The back is a plain soft yellow

Are the directions anywhere in a text file, as I am on slow dial up and cannot watch videous?

If you Google "self binding baby blanket tutorial" there are many different tutorials available. This on has good close-up pics of the corners. http://www.sew-much-ado.com/2012/05/self-binding-receiving-blanket-tutorial.html

they are really good visuals thanks, I think for me the thing I finally got was aligning my ruler to get the 45 degree angle! hope to see some more of these as once you get the hang of it, it is pretty quick! hugs Loralye

Cute! You will be closer to the ten minutes -- the "10 minute" blanket suggests -- in no time at all if you keep this up!
