~Winter Breaking~

This quilt was done after I had enough of the damp cold winter here in the south. It's a lap quilt and perfect for snuggling while knitting or watching tv. I was toying with the idea of making these for the elderly at hospitals or those who have cancer and need that extra warmth and something special to bring them hope.

The second photo is with a flash and up close to see the flowers and small growth that peeks out beneath snow and leaves as Winter is breaking.

The third photo of the Ellisimo Gold doing some top stitch work in the hoop. Largest quilt so far is a 72x72 on my Babylock. Anything larger needs to be on the quilt frame with the long arm.
