I recently received an old linen tablecloth from my MIL & I had this doily from my gramma & although it is very old I want to keep it but as you can see it has a tea stain & a hole worn right through. Sew I took a small pc from hubbys grandma's cloth & embroidered todays freebie from Shoofly onto it & then removed the lace & attached the center & re-attached the lace. Although neither one of our grammas are here anymore I think its nice to have alittle pc of them around for a few more yrs to come. I think they would be very pleased!
