It has been a difficult day for your family. Thoughts and prayer to the family. Your ex mother in law lived a very long life. Praying for Joshua to get through these next few days of recovery with minimal discomfort. Generally the first three or four days after such an invasive surgery can be the worst. Could not imagine them letting him leave the hospital the next day after this surgery. Hugs to you. It has got to be difficult being many hours away.

Thank you for the update. I am so sorry that you are being tested in so many ways all at once.It is hard to lose someone you loved and admired. And it is hard to see Joshua go through so much pain and so many surgeries. My prayers continue for Joshua and for all of his family members.

Oh Sarah, I am so sorry for your losing your friend, your dear friend, your ex-mother-in-law. You know, you keep on loving them, even though you divorce the son, you still love the mother.
