Scrap Quilt.. I just got this back from my quilter last week and since I finished my Grinch quilt, I can now finish this one... I had to put binding and rickrack on this.. what a job.. it is 90 x 116.. for a king size bed.. these squares were made on a lining fabric..each square started off as a 9 inch and then you sew 4 together to make the block.. it was heavy putting the binding on.. it is funny.. this is made from my scrap box.. but when I was done, the box was still full.. how does that happen.??

I think scraps multiply at night. I have the same thing. Working on a 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" 29 sq by 39 sq Your quilt is beautiful Like the rick and the blue. Maybe I will try after I finish the Irish Chain using 2" x 2" blocks. Thank you for sharing

Lovely and I love love love the rickrack on the edge. I remember when rickrack was what our Mom's put on the end of our pants when we grew too tall for them! Beautiful quilt!

You give me a good reason (or excuse?) to save my scraps and stockpiling them *lol* Your quilt looks beautiful with all the colors and the blue to keep it all together.

What great use of your scraps!! Seems to me that my pile too is like bunnies.. it grows over night with me knowing. Great quilt my dear, you did great work.

Ok, I just read some of the comments ... we've all got bunnies tucked away in our closets!
Warm hugs,

LOVE the quilt - great job! My sister-in-law asked me to make a quilt/bed spread for their California King sized bed and I'm intimidated by the size. It will be as big as a pool cover by the time I'm finished. hehe

What a great job you did. The quilt looks beautiful.
Adding the rickrack to the border is a good idea that I will retain.
Thanks for sharing.

I sew the binding from the back to the front, so as I finish the binding I am putting the rickrack on at the same time.. works great. same as I do my pot holders and it is easy to make miter corners..

putting the rickrack seem to be what I do, now that I look back at my quilts... I guess that will be my designer look.
