I want to thank everyone for all the birthday wishes sent my way! I didn't answer sooner as I was in the hospital for my birthday. Early morning of the 14th I had a heart attack and had to have 4 stents put in and then also had a little stroke. I was told I was a very lucky lady as the type heart attack was what they call the widow maker. The stroke has only affected my eyes and they are hopeful it will get better. So spending my special day in the hospital actually was special cause the other option wouldn't have been too good for me. Thanks again for all the birthday greetings! Hugzzz to all, Linda

A very serious hospital visit was not the gift I had hoped for. But I am so glad you survived. Now behave and obey the doctor's orders and take your medicine. We want you to be here so we can wish you a happy birthday next year. Please let us know how you are doing.

Thanks for all of your wonderful thoughts and prayers. I am doing pretty good and there is a bit of improvement with my eyes. I am very lucky and blessed as it all could have been much worse. I will be making lots of changes in my lifestyle that is for sure. I have 3 DGK's I want to see grow up. Again thank you all, it means alot to me. Huggzz,Linda

I think you should celebrate your half birthday (6 months later) this year - maybe a lovely lowfat dinner out? (They told my x-spouse: "if it tastes good, spit it OUT"!!! Be a survivor. And remember the healing power of embroidery.

Mar 19, 2013 --- I'm so sorry to hear this - but I too had a heart attack (its been 12 years ago now (knock on wood). I'm sure you will come back from this better than ever. Look how lucky you have been so far -- keep us informed, we care about ya!
