When I saw Carolyn's garden this morning covered in snow, I took a picture of my garden through the window where I was sewing. Slight difference being in the southern hemisphere!!!! Sarah.

Oh Sarah I admit that I'm jealous ;o)
Sometimes we have a littel sunshine here but it is still cold. The snow from last week is melted but the weather forecast is warning: More snow should come :o(

Let us sing: I'm like a bird...

Have tried to add a spacer between the a and the >bird< and after save the changes (and adding an extra spacer between every word!) it agglomerate the >like< and the a :o(

Gorgeous garden, wish I could see mine. Deck with barbeque behind table, snowdrift across patio doors.

Unbelievable. What an amazing world we live in.

this looks familiar! My son-in-law pushed the snow into a pile where I can't even see my bird feeder!

Most of my roses are in pots - would that not work if you put the pots under cover during the colder months? My roses are not enjoying the heat we have been having. I am watering the pots every day.

Although autumn is well on it's way here the days are still hot. Just wish we could have a bit of rain.

We have a huge garden with a fairly small house. If it were the other way round I could then have a sewing room!!!

I live in Knysna. My roses have not been good this year as it has been so hot with little rain. It is only now as autumn approaches they are looking better.

Thank you Yvonne. The garden is far too big and I now mainly have planted trees and shrubs. I am also growing more and more in pots.

Beautiful garden!!!! Any idea what flowered plants grow well next to the ocean???? I have two lemon trees and they have not grown at all, same my cherry tree, the only plants growing like crazy are the coconuts trees and the mangos, but I would like to have some flowers!!!! Thanks you for sharing it,

I am also within walking distance to the sea and the salt air plays havoc with all the plants and trees. My lemon tree is also struggling to grow.
