I just love this little applique Yorkie design. I had to try it out so I made a "pocket" potholder. Hugs, Susan

These dogs are so cute and have heard them referred to as pocket dogs. So fitting to put the design on the pocket potholder.

No, I use tear-away stabilizer, muslin fabric, thinsulbright batting and fabric in the hoop and stitch my design. Then I remove from the hoop and remove the stabilizer. I center it and cut out a circle the size I want. Then I cut out circles the same size of backing fabric, thinsulbright, and lining fabric (this fabric will show). Next cut the melon shape away from the embroidered piece and add binding. Stack all parts together, pin to hold in place and add binding to out side edge. Hope this helps. Hugs, Susan
