This was just one block on an amazing quilt we saw at the Sewing for Pleasure show. I couldn't get a picture of the whole thing.

Yes a lovely quilt we are doing some of the blocks and flowers from her book in our branch of the quilting guild. so far we have done 5 blocks, am really enjoying making the 3d flowers something very different from the usual pattern blocks, can only hope its going to look like hers, the book and instructions are fantastic.

That is just quite spectacular and clearly a true labour of love. I hate to think how long that took to embroider let alone actually putting it together. There are some very clever people in this world.
Thank you for the post.

SIMPLY STUNNING! Lots of hours went into this one. I would never use it on my bed, but have it displayed on a wall. Lovely Sue, thanks for letting us have a look at it. Love Chris

Does anyone know the name of the book this came from?

If I were to guess, I would venture to say Pauline Ineson's "Floral Dimensions". I can't say for sure, but it looks like a pattern I've seen while browsing her book. Good Luck...~Rita

4/30/2013 Wow! This 3D look is gorgeous! She did a beautiful job of quilting it too. Some tramputo quilting is it? I sure wish I were this talented. It had to have taken a lot of time to do. The detail is stunning! Sounds like you had a great time at the quilt show. Thanks for taking pics and sharing this beautiful artpiece with us.

How beautiful. I envy the talented people. I have neither the talent nor the patience to do something like that. But I know beautiful when I see it. Thanks for sharing with us.
