26 March 2013 (UK): As a oldie newbie here, I thought you might like to know a little of my background.

My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned. I just couldn't concentrate.
I then tried my hand as a lumberjack but I just couldn't hack it and was given the axe.
After that I started to train as a tailor. It was a so-so job to which I was just not suited.
I tried to hold down a job in a muffler factory but that was just plain exhausting.
Needing to spice up my life, I then trained as a chef but just didn't have the thyme.
I became a professional fisherman but couldn't survive on my net income and so got myself a job doing pool maintenance but found this work too draining.
After these many years of trying to find suitable steady work, I got a job as a historian which was very interesting, but after a while I realised that there was just no future in it.
I am currently employed at Starbucks but frankly I don't know how long it will last. It's the same old grind.

You could try and start a career as a stand-up comedian and see how long you can stand up to it. Might be quite boring. :)

It is very kind of you to suggest this new career but unfortunately, the nearest I am likely to get 'on the stage' is the job of sweeping it...............lol.

Wow - it is good to have you here! I like your way of intelligent humour!
Shall copy it and forward to my English girl friend in Lincoln; she's
experiencing such a lot of misfortune - so maybe this will brighten her
day.
Thank you - Maria
