Dear Cute Family,
I arrived yesterday and I think I left my heart in Japan, with my son Yukio. I already miss him terribly.
Here some pictures of the cherry blossom, bullet train and my son.
The last one, is an article from a Japanese Newspaper that says: "Cherry blooms for a homeless student"
Yukio has passed the tests to go to Aichi Prefecture University, the biggest University in Aichi Prefecture. I'm so proud of him! He will live in a student unit from April, and I'm so happy about it.

Yoriko, you have every right to be so proud of this fine, fine young man. God has been watching over him and you for a long time and good things are still going to come. I am sure you wish he lived closer to you. Its hard when they are so far away, but thanks to the Internet, we can still be close to them. I miss my Daughter and Grand Daughter so much, since they moved to the States and they are only a couple of hours away by car, but seems a world away.

Yukio has done so well to get to Aichi Prefecture University and you are one proud mum. So glad that the visit to Japan went well. It is tough saying goodbye and having such a distance between you but as others say with modern technology its easy to be in touch most of the time. The cherry blossom looks wonderful, one day I will get back to Japan and see it blossoming and go on shinkansen again. I know a small part of my heart is still in Japan so there must be a huge part of yours there. Take care and look forward to your next visit to see Yukio and your country
