I've just clicked on the Embroidery tab and noticed that there have only been two posts in the last 24 hours. Come on everyone - this is an Embroidery site after all!

Hmm agree - For now I try and avoid the internet especially Cute as I tend to loose myself between all the tabs. Then I forget to sew and that is after all what I want to do. Is on leave and go back to work on Monday - so many things I still want to do and so little time.

Agree with you so much. Just found a pic of the old tabs and thought how nice and easy it was to skip all those freebie-links ( I admire all the cuties for their work with the lists but it increased so much) and also the jokes (they were under the seperate personal-tab)...
Greetings, Bettina
PS: And it was also nice to have the possibilty to find your own answers again to see if you could helped that other cutie and mark a post which you wanna follow ;o)

They were great features. There are many new and fantastic features, but it is a shame to lose the old favourites!

I so miss the embroidery questions and answers. I learned a great deal from those answers over the years.

I totally agree with you Sue. My moan is that there are people who just put up joke after joke. I do not think that these people have ever put anything on projects, let alone mention embroidery. My gut feeling is to collect as many flowers as they can. Sorry to be so otherwise. Sarah.

I think you are correct Sarah. It puts people off.

some of the jokes are so distasteful I wouldn't give a flower if you paid me. Come on people embroider something!

Agree the embroidery section is sparse. I think the sections can be confusing to some folks. If people want to share jokes I don't have an issue with that - they should be tagged as personal and you don't have to read them if you don't want to - just like you don't have to look at freebies if you don't want to - just skip over them. I think the Q&A section being separate may harm more than help - the questions there are very often embroidery related and seem to be overlooked sometimes. I guess I just look at it from the perspective of read what you want scroll past what you don't.

I have noticed many embroidery questions asked in the Question/Answer tab. I may have missed my guess but I thought that tab was for questions and answers about this site and how to navigate it. However, it isn't really clear and many new and old cuties use it as a "catch all" for any questions. Additionally, I have NO desire to start a Cute war/argument. I enjoy the peace we have here now.

Like others, I miss some of the old features too. I miss having the ability to track the posts on which I have commented or replied. I love some of the changes to the site. I struggle dividing time between posting and sewing/embroidery. I hope sewing wins most of my "spare" time but I love chatting with friends too. I also love helping other Cute members any way I can. It is always a juggling act.

Thanks for the reminder that we need to get back to embroidery.
