Red was the only color yarn I had on hand. It was not my first choice but I think she turned out just fine. Thanks, Susan

Susan, I purchased this design last night, and still haven't received it yet from Embroidery-Outlet. Does it take awhile for her to send it? Also, in the meantime am going shopping. What kind of fabric is the actual doll made of? Thank you, Pam

Hi Pam, Yes it takes me 12 - 18 hours to get a design from her. She is in Australia, big time difference I guess. Maybe the internet is extra slow cause I purchased a design from Sew Swell last night and still have not received it yet either. For my doll I used a light peach colored cotton fabric. I did use a very thin batting with the fabric. I hooped my tear away stabilizer, laid a piece of batting on it then my fabric face up. For the final stitching I lay the fabric face down with batting on top and stitch. I think it gives the doll a smoother texture when I'm finished stuffing her. Also if you are going to add the ribbons to the shoes as I did try to attach the ribbons to the shoes as you embroider. It is difficult to add them afterwards. My lesson learned. Good luck am glad I could help. Hugs, Susan
I purchased this doll (after seeing your creation) two nights ago and still have not received it. I don't think the digitizer is in Australia - think it is Germany so the time difference for me is 12 hours as I live in New Zealand.
Thanks for the stitching advice Susan

If it's been that long, I would definitely send her an email.
Thank you Susan. I did receive the design yesterday, and was thrilled. Thanks everyone for responding. And thanks Susan, your doll is gorgeous!! ~Pam
