yesterday my 13yr old granddaughter placed 3rd in our southwestern region @ the science fair! For those of you who garden this maybe helpful to know

How does your garden grow is what her experiment was called & basically what she discovered is this:before you plant the seeds if you place your seeds on a dry paper towel & microwave for about 30seconds (different microwaves may require more or less due to wattage) your plants will grow thicker & faster with bigger blooms. I think this is fantastic news as I am a bit of a gardener & will try this this year. I do veggies too sew am looking forward to seeing hopefully a bumper crop! Just think what this could mean to farmers everywhere!
