I am off to an embroidery clinic for the day, I am hoping that it is not a great big sales fest and that I actually learn something useful.

How fun, Alice!!! I am going to an apparel expo the end of this month in Chicago area. Am trying to get a feel for multi needle machine....should be a good place to "pick some brains".....Hope you have a good learning experience and leave your wallet at home...LOL!!

You don't need to get a feel for a multi needle Vicki, YOU could drive it standing on your head.

It was nice to get out and about and mingle a bit, the day was really good value, It was a free day so I was fully expecting to be sold to all day long. There was some selling in that there was embroidery machines and printers being demonstrated but all of the sessions had great info and there was morning and afternoon tea and lunch, which was all really good. I had a great day. The day was put on by Embroidery source which is a Melbourne based company. I give their free seminar a 10 out of 10.

Wow can't believe it was free. Our HusqvarnaViking dealers put on an event similar, but it cost $35 or $40 which includes lunch. I enjoy it and always learn something, but basically it is to showcase new products and of course to sell them. Do receive I think it was 20% discount on all purchases. Hugs. Nan W
