If it is aphoto of a stitch-out I don't understand, if it is clipart it may be for cpyright reasons. Try PrintScreen - I use Gadwin Printscreen and that works well.

I don't get it either. Must have something to do with copying the design?

My new computer came with a Snipping Tool. If you have it you can go to All Programs on your computer to find it. You can select a portion of the page and copy it, paste it, etc.

I have Windows 7 with the Snipping Tool to get the photos, but I just don't understand if they are willing to give you a design, why not the photo also. OPW is that way for one, photo is protected.

I have saved those pages as "webpage complete". The picture is then in the files folder and you can save it from there. I then delete the rest of the saved page.

They do it because the website is set up as a whole to block the right click and copy. If the website sells zero designs then I would wonder why they would go to the trouble of disabling that function. However, when you create a design website -- you leave blanks for the customer to put designs into. If one is protected then the whole website will be. It is cheaper to put in your own designs (into the blanks) than to pay a web designer a LOT of money to redo it (and set up permissions for each) often.

If you use a Mac you can do a screen print by using the Control and Command Key and the 4 keys. That gives you hash marks to select the image you want to save. I use that every day.

I agree it is nice to be able to see the design in the original colours and texture. Even in PES the designs just don't look as nice as the picture and I get frustrated when I cannot d/l it. Thanks for asking and thanks to all who have answered.
