For a geologist - these are the (rectangular) napkins I was embroidering on Monday when I was having such a bad day. The ammonite design was just not suitable for use on rose patterned damask - hence the tea towels cut in half!
I used matching bobbin thread and the back looks nearly as good as the front so I'm quite pleased

No one would ever know what it took to make these. You thought of a great solution in spit of the difficulties of the day. A big pat on the back for a job well done.

You do a MUCH better job of making it through your bad days than I do mine and your work is flawless!

I just love ammonites, I actually have a real fossil one, and these look just great! I'm sure your geologist will enjoy them very much, and congrats on getting thru such a stinky day with such grace! Hugs, Marji

They look GREAT!! sometimes a rectangular napkin can be better than a square, covers more lap
