Colma, very lovely quilt - now we need to know more about what you did and where you got the designs or if you did this without embroidery or what else - other than that - this is beautiful work and I love the choice of colors and I know that Elizabeth will treasure it. *4U

Hi Shirlene this quilt was featured in an Aussie quilt book DOwn Under Quilts, the quilt was called Fleurence, I never seem to do any of my quilts exactly as per the instructions but put my own ideas to eh basic design. It was mainly applique and differentpatchwork blocks and then I added machine embroidery to each panel I have made this quilt in 3 different colors altering it each time. It is quite a rewarding quilt to make.
It and all your quilts are lovely.

Such delicate choice of colors. My only 2 GD are both under 3yrs, so you have given me a goal to set for them as they get older. I am still making them baby quilts. I absolutely Love this. Where did you source your pattern from? SEW PRETTY *

Hi Kezza, the pattern was in Down Under Quilts and called fleuresence be Barb Cleaver it was over 4 issues of the book.

Hello, I'm only new to quilting and we are making your Fleuresence Quilt for the Biggest Morning Tea, and all the money raised goes to the cancer council. I have opted to do the log cabin blocks and we've been asked to make a practice one up to check it measures 61/2 inches and I would like to make a quilt for my grand daughters, but I don't have the pattern. Is there anyway I can get a coloured copy of the pattern?
