I need a "NO SHOES" design. Similar to a no smoking design. Maybe then our friends will get the point. I cannot bring myself to SAY it. Wish I could. So will make a nice door hanger?

What about this - don't stitch the 'u' but stitch the rest over a pair of shoes. There are some redwork ones on cute??

tomorrow I will stitch it out and I have a little extra to go with it so will keep you all in susspence. I d/l a shoe from annthegran and I already had the NO circle thinngy what ever it's called.

Just put a sign on the door saying" the owners of this house are strict Japanese.Please respect their custom & remove your shoes before entering".As we wish to keep on renting here HA HA HA*4u

I was going to suggest you stitch out the BOOT (yesterday's freebie) from Amazing and just stitch a large capital "X" over the top and place the whole lot inside a Capital "O". Could be fun... LOL! hugs n roses, M

Love debbierussell's idea LOL and meganne's. I was thinking along that line. If you have a design with the circle and x or / thru it, just stitch it over a shoe of some sort?! *4U ><>

Kezza, if this is of any help to you, when my son
moved into a flat, it had the floors covered in a
cream carpet. He asked me if I could embroider a
picture, not too big, and put the words "PLEASE
REMOVE YOUR SHOES" underneath, I did a nice picture
of little birds on a branch, and then he framed it
and hung it in a prominent place. He said it worked !

Having a front and a back door I am sure to get a different door hanger for both. Thanks for all these great ideas. Half through one already. will post when finished
