My nine year old grandson wanted to make a quilt. I gave him graft paper and told him to design what he wants. I guess there is a critter called "Minecraft". This is what he came up with. The first photo is laying out the squares on the design wall for the top half, note the black eyes and mouth. Tonight he came over and started sewing it together. He even has perfect quarter inch seams. I think he's doing a good job. I'll post more next time he comes to sew.
