Asking for Prayers Please. My DH fell 45 feet of a staging area. broke a rib...tore up his while right arm...scraped his right ankle badly...landed across a handrail on the chest so he bruised and scraped that area also...there is a pocket of air between his lung and ribs...we have to watch him, make sure he gets deep breathes in so it doesn't cause the lung to collapse or get pneumonia...his neck and back are extremely sore and in pain.lower back is hurting...right hand is black, bruised and swollen...there are cuts on his head and brow...hes a real mess....
So any prayers are welcome please...THANKS

Thank You...I havent gotten much sleep last night and probly won't tonight either...listening to his breathing and making sure he isnt having too much trouble...
God is in control ... trust him, and he will do.
I know The LORD is in control..thats why its so much easier to handle...luvs

Oh my Dear Camy, I makes me hurt just thinking about how he must be feeling. I think he is fortunate to be alive falling from that distance, He is in my prayers for a complete recovery, with no complications to hinder is healing, I hope you can get him to smile inside (cause it would probably hurt to laugh) amd that will speed his healing also,

Thanks for the hugs...Thank goodness he has a strong pain meds...He doesn't benefit from many pain killers...over in the chair snoring...hence no sleep for me.hehehe..

Deanna, I have to say he had a guardian angel with him when he fell due to the fact he lived through a fall such as this!! My goodness how scary for the both of you........he will certainly be lifted up in prayer by this group! Please let us know how he is doing.......

Deanna, I surely was sorry to come here and find this today. You must be so worried. I am confused as to why he isn't in a hospital and being monitored after such a catastrophic fall! I hope you have someone to help you watch him as he heals. When he gets a little better, you will have to make him a superman cape so next time he doesn't hit anything on the way down. Sorry, I am just trying to make you smile, not be disrespectful. I will certainly pray fervently for his healing and that there is nothing else wrong that hasn't been discovered and that you are able to get sufficient rest to be able to take care of your darling. Remind him how much God loves him....this could have been fatal.

Just checked with my firefighter son. He says anything over head height is considered traumatic. I can't even fathom falling 45 feet.

What a high height to fall from! My neighbor fell 20 feet and broke his pelvis, both legs, an arm and many internal injuries. The doctors were all amazed he's done so well. May your dear husband recover fully and may the pain be eased for him. You and he are in my prayers. God be with you! --Sandra
