If I had the fabric I would mail it to you right now. Sadly I don't. However, I did find some for sale on etsy.

This link shows a piece of fabric that looks just like yours. My mom had to go to the hospital for a few days and she got a bonded service to take care of my dad who was almost blind at the time. I did arrive to find him not being looked after and one of the caregivers took her silverware, checks and even used them for purchases, and several credit cards. A year later a landlord called and asked if this was my mom and he was redoing an apartment and when he pulled the carpet up there were her credit cards - of course they all had been cancelled but it was nice of him to get them back to her. She did make settlement with the caregiver service.

Ah, dear Stella, being ill is not fun at all, and getting older isn't on my favourites list, either, any more. You need help, but you can't always trust people, I guess. Well, at least you got some leads on the fabric, hope they work out. And go ahead, tempt fate, purchase green bananas, live dangerously!!
