This piece took me all day. OK most of the day. a long time... but so worth it. I reversed the pink and blue, and made the outside a dark color, other than that it is by the chart so to speak. I stitch it on a 1 yard piece of bottom weight, and I do not know if I will make a tote or a jacket. one thing for sure, someone else will do the sewing.

Dear Chris, I think I mentioned in my post how it took me over 3 hours, but I must admit I'm a fast worker he he he! Isn't it a stunning owl. I like the pink colours too, which for me is odd, as I'm a purple/blue person! Stitched out perfectly! Love and blessings Chris

You are fast. It took me more than double your time. I am not complaining, I am so happy that I can stitch! Your's was so beautiful I had to get it.

I clicked on it and then magnified it and you have done excellent work-- even close up!
Just pop over the little hills nearby and I am sure I can help you find a home -- errrrr... find a jacket or a tote pattern and sew it for me -- uhhhh I mean for you -- that's what I meant -- for you.

Smile! anytime girl anytime you want to come here... I'm available! Bring a machine or 2. Got a serger? mine had an accident bad bad accident.
I am so sorry your serger had an accident.
Yes, I have a Bernina 1300 serger. It sits near my Babylock Quest Plus (the one with the duel feed system) which would be perfect for this project.
I just have to find the BIG money to fill the fuel tank in my Suburban several times so I can make it over the little hills and back home again. LOL

Yep, that is a gas guzzler. I think I should take the bus to you. Is there a bus?
A bus and/or a train if you would rather see the sites that way. Yes, I have sticker shock at the pump way too often.
Oh the train ride through the mountains. I would just love that.

Beautiful - I love what you did with it. Isn't it amazing what just a few minor changes of color can do to a design. Thanks for sharing it with us.

All those stitches and no puckering -- impressive!!

Yes I must say, of all the large pieces I have stitched (3), this one had the least amount of puckering. It is a bottomweight which is between a regular weight and a canvas.
I just remember I emlarged it a little bit.
