Thought I would brag a little today, Wednesday at the district Homemakers Club I received a very nice surprise. I had been chosen as Homemaker of the Year for Etowah County in Alabama and received a beautiful engraved Bronze Plaque stating that fact with my name and the date on it. I know there are many more that are more deserving than myself but I was proud as punch and of course shed tears of joy when they called me up. Lillian

Congratulations! I am sure the award was well deserved. Lived in Gadsden a 100 years ago. It is a pretty part of the state. I hope you display your plaque proudly.

Cece, I live out in Gallant, don't know if you know where that is. We came to Gadsden in1969 & my oldest daughter Grad. from Gadsden High in '71. The rest grad. from Ashville. Thank you and we are glad to have you with us here at Cute/Lillian

Thank you Chris, Fair days, bad days, but I keep going, extremly painful to sit @ cp or sewing machine and I am so slow at everything, have to be very careful how I move. I do what I have to, the rest doesn't get done. Still I think God for ea. day. He is in control and there's a reason for everything. The apostle Paul asked 3 times to be healed but God told him his grace was sufficient for him I love and miss you all so much/Lillian
