Mistakes, mistakes.....I embroidered these roses (Emb. Library) on toile so I could make a cover for an Ikea light but when I pressed it, I melted a spot. So...I cut around it and put Tack it over and over on the back and slapped it on the lamp. I took it off today and decided it looked pretty spiffy on the wall! NOW....we can decorate our walls, we'll never run out of design room!!

Ok, that's cool. I put those roses on a table runner. Now I might just have to decorate my sewing room walls with this idea. It's amazing what we can do with our mistakes. Hugs..Carol

I was wondering how to stick embroidery to walls, windows etc. Thanks for sharing you did a wonderful job. I used designs from this pack for a lampshade for my mom. I used four different ones on an old lampshade that was falling apart. We could not find a lampshade that had the right metal part to fit the lamp. I will have to look for tack-it.
