Did this on my jeans. Used 14/90 needle and tearaway stabilizeer. The butterfly is done with varigated metallic thread. Dont remember where the design comes from.

I'm new at this. HOw do you do jeans? Were they already bought? or did you make them?

Hi These were bought jeans that I opened the seam to lay it flat and then hooped it with double sided tape to hold it while I did the emb.
by katydid 01 Jun 2008
Like the idea of double sided tape. I generally spray with adhesive and pin with straight pins to stabilizer. All worry I might hit a pin!!

I have a question? How do you put a design on your jeans? How is it done with the machine? I'm new at embroidery.

by sufferingsonje 13 Jun 2008
I opened up the seam to make it lay flat.
The design is 3/4 of the way up the leg. Then hooped stabilizer and used double sided tape to stick jeans on. Placing it where I wanted the design and stitched it out. Hope this helps. *4u
