I put my son in charge of my mom's Mother Day gift. He was set up out in the dining room and my mom and I were working on a project in the Living room. She kept going out to see what he was making. After he embroidered a part out he folded it up and hid them. Well he made 4 place mats, coaster and napkin rings and 2 large size pot holders from scrap material.

He will be 31 on the 13Th. He recently lost his job.. he came over one day with my mom to bug us while we worked on different projects. He said hey mom I would like this design on a towel. I told him to set up the old machine and use the laptop.... now he is hooked!!! He has some really good ideas. He also said hey we could go into business together.

I love that idea. I wish my son was so inclined. Best wishes to your new endeavor.

Great to see a new person get hooked on our embroidery passion; maybe he could become a full fledged sewist now that he's been bitten by the embroidery bug!???,lol.

I have lots of scraps. My friend also gave me a lot of different type of fabrics after her mom passed. Now I am hoping to get my mom's Christmas list done with help from him.
