Here are 2 SNOWMAN APPLIQUES for my annual Christmas Ladies luncheon, only 6 to go. These will hold a little gift or chocolates - yummmmmy!
This design is from Golden Needles, it's called Snowman Sew-in-the-Hoop Treatbag Embroidery Design and is only $2.99. Sewn in the hoop with 11 and a half thousand stitches in it. Love and blessings Chris
Each one done on a different machine the one on the left was done with my Brother Quattro and the one on the right with my Husqvarna Designer 1. I had to use different colours, but as close as possible to look similar, and then I forgot and had black in the last stitching line, which should have been WHITE as that's when you add the piece for the back!!! What a goose I am.

As ever Chris lovely work. What is interesting is hearing you used 2 different machines to sew out. I found it interesting to enlarge your photo and look closely at the work. I admire you for thinking about Christmas now. I am doing my usual day to day and looking forward to the break at the end of the month. I will probably be thinking about Christmas in early Dec when you will already have had your party

Good morning Caroline! You should have seen me, I'd start one off and by the time I'd threaded the machines, my Husqvarna was finished (it's just a tad faster, although I did slow it down a bit), then I'd slide across to the Brother and get that all sorted out. So I had the threads all lined up ready to go and chose the others for the other machine as close as possible. Well, they turned out great. Yes, my Christmas luncheon will have to be in November this year due to us going to Adelaide for the Ashes cricket test! Love Chris

Ha ha ha! I used to buy these beautiful specialist chocolates from David Jones (it's an up market Department Store here in Australia) and put them in little organza bags. Often they could see them, so I've since been making some sort of bag to hide what's inside and they always get a nice surprise! Love Chris
